Happy New Year to everybody!
Hope you enjoyed your Christmas holidays, and you spend time with your relatives and friends!
Mine were strange for the first time in my life. My family and I got COVID-19 on 23rd of December, so we spend most of our holiday time at home. We couldn’t celebrate festivities with our relatives, so it was very melancholy for all of us. Now we feel much better than at the beginning of the quarantine, of course, and we are recovering ourselves little by little. We have never had COVID before and now I can put myself in other’s shoes. I cannot imagine how sick people felt two years ago, when everything began and there were no vaccines.
Apart from that, in my last entry I would like to say THANK YOU to our teacher Michael for teaching as in an innovative way. How many times have you listen to teachers telling you how to be innovative in your class but their classes were the most traditional ones you have ever seen?
I know your answer and that’s why I appreciate the big effort that @TeacherMaik made! I have to admit that at the beginning of the semester, I thought that creating a Wix was time-consuming and I didn’t see the point of spending so many hours in front of a screen, but as time went by, I realised that I was learning through new technologies and it was fun! Undoubtedly, I will put into practice most of the tools we have learnt during the fall semester. Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for teaching us how to become real influencers for our students!
Last but not least, I would like to share the activity I did with my Primary students. We learnt what a calligram is and we put into practice in class using new technologies. I would like to share with you the one I gave them as a Christmas gift. Hope you like the idea!
Best wishes for all of you!
